Matt studied at Johnson& Whales in Charleston, SC, and completed his internship at the Hyatt Regency on Hilton Head Island. Over the next several years, he worked in restaurants in Florida and Texas, then followed his kids to Lynchburg while they were in school. Matt started in Lynchburg at the former Randolph Macon Women’s College, then worked at The Crown and Father’s Table before coming on board with Runk and Pratt. Now Matt focuses on the events side of the business where he can put his varied background and skills to work. He enjoys live music and great food when he’s not cooking in the kitchen.
